Formerly a 17th Century Rectory, the Lords of the Manor
stands in a timeless corner of the Cotswolds within eight acres of secluded,
landscaped gardens and parkland in the village of Upper Slaughter.
For generations the house was the home of the Witts family, historically
Rectors of the Parish and it is from these origins that the hotel derives
its distinctive name.
The original part of the house dates from 1650, although numerous additions
have been made over the years, predominantly during the Victorian era.
The reception rooms of the house have been preserved with a sense of
style and character, with blazing log fires throughout the winter months
and during the summer, French windows are thrown open to provide an idyllic
setting on the terrace, offering an exquisite setting for alfresco dining.
Accommodation - Each bedroom is individually designed and luxuriously
furnished for the ultimate in comfort. Some of the larger Rectory rooms
offer extensive views of the gardens and lake, others overlook the old
courtyard or walled gardens.
All bedrooms have plasma TV screens and dvd players, bottles of still

Molton Brown toiletries and bathroom accessories.

serving some of the finest food in the county, skilfully using the very
best in modern British cuisine with influences from around the World. A

Alfresco dining is available on the terrace or lawns to offer a different
dining experience although with the same exacting service. Staff are in
tune to your every need, and are ready with a glass of wine or tray of
afternoon tea.
A short walk from the hotel across the fields will take you to
the villages of Upper and Lower Slaughter two of the most beautiful
and unspoilt villages in England.

Stow-on-the-Wold, Broadway as well as an array of National Trust stately
